Renowned Kano Oil Marketer Audu Manager Laid to Rest

The remains of renowned Kano businessman and oil marketer, Alhaji Audu Manaja, were laid to rest on Sunday following funeral prayers held at the Jami’ur Rahma Friday Mosque in Kundila, Kano.

His burial followed the arrival of his remains from Egypt, where he passed away on June 3 at a hospital after a prolonged illness.

The burial had earlier been delayed due to logistical arrangements required to repatriate his body to Nigeria.

Alhaji Audu Manaja was widely recognised in Kano’s business community for his longstanding involvement in the petroleum sector, where he built a reputation as a prominent oil marketer.

Family members, friends, business associates, religious leaders, and sympathisers attended the funeral prayer to pay their final respects and offer prayers for the repose of his soul.

The late businessman is remembered for his contributions to commerce and the development of the petroleum industry in Kano State. He was 68 years old.
