Kano Governor Orders Immediate Assessment and Renovation After Rogo Hospital Fire

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed sympathy to the residents of Rogo Local Government Area following a fire that damaged parts of the Rogo General Hospital on Thursday.

Describing the incident as unfortunate and deeply saddening, Governor Yusuf emphasized the critical role of hospitals in providing essential healthcare services and the need for them to remain functional and safe at all times.

He has directed an immediate assessment of the damage and instructed officials to submit a detailed report without delay. The Governor also ordered a full renovation and rehabilitation of the affected hospital sections to ensure a swift restoration of healthcare services for the community.

Governor Yusuf reassured the people of Rogo of his administration’s continued commitment to strengthening healthcare facilities across all 44 local government areas of Kano State.
