Governor Yusuf Disburses ₦5 Billion in Fifth Round of Pension Gratuity Payments, Totaling ₦27 Billion in Two Years

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has once again fulfilled his promise to pensioners with the disbursement of gratuity payments amounting to ₦5 billion.

This latest payment represents the fifth round of gratuity settlements under his administration, bringing the total amount paid to pensioners in the last two years to an unprecedented ₦27 billion.

Speaking during the official ceremony held at Government House on Wednesday, Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of retired civil servants. He assured that all outstanding pension entitlements would be cleared before the end of his tenure in 2027.

Governor Yusuf emphasized that the continuous settlement of gratuities is part of his government’s broader effort to restore dignity, alleviate hardship, and ensure social justice for those who dedicated their years of service to the development of Kano State.
